Any one using templatera and experiencing slow speeds?

Hello,
This is one you guys might not be able to help with, but I thought I would ask just in case ;-)
I'm using a plugin called templatera

It's such a great feature, in that each component can be changed globally and reduce the number of changes everything time a component needs to be updated. I love it, the only problem is the performance of this plugin seem to be really poor when used with GP. Is this something you guys have seen before? or do you know of any quick fixes? When its switched on it reduces my site speed from 90 to 66, so it's about to go. But before I remove this I just wanted to see if you guys know of any fixes for it that might improve the performance?

unfortunately we don't have any hands on experience with WP Bakery and that addon.
Generally templating tools 'should' improve performance by minimising page specific CSS by using Global styles that can be cached - so less repetitive CSS rules for each page... so its a little odd that it would affect performance that significantly. Might be worth checking with their support.
