[Resolved] Animated gifs not moving

Hi team,

We are using GP Premium with GenerateBlocks and the animated gifs appear static.

I’ve tried to place them in various sizes, including 100%, but no changes. On the page I link to you, I’m using a Gallery inside Generateblocks Container. The second of the images should be animated.

Could you help us or tell us what we are doing wrong?

Try adding the GIF and selecting Image size: Full Size

Just to help others: I had tried it in various ways and it didn’t work. The correct way is to choose the size of the images within the Gallery block options.

Just to explain – when you upload an image, WP creates the difference src-set sizes. When that image is a GIF it uses the first frame of the Gif to create those images. So only the Full ( original ) image has all the frames.

Its therefore advisable to upload GIFs at the correct size ….
