GP Premium provides rather anemic looking text as excerpts on my blog home page. I have to use the Advanced Excerpt plugin to make the excerpt look attractive by increasing font size and adding bold and italics.
Is there any chance that GeneratePress could add these and other options for excerpts to the Customizer?

Hi there,
By default, WordPress strips HTML in the the_excerpt() function.
I really can’t recall other mentions of this so not sure if it’s worthy of a customizer option.
Are you trying to increase the font size, font weight, and italics for the entire excerpt or just certain words/sections?

Hello!
Using Advance Excerpt plugin, I have excerts limited to 45 words. First few words are bold, the rest are italicized. All are increaded to 18 point size.
