Anchor links refresh page on mobile

The reply buttons on my bbPress forum utilise anchor links, i.e. https://300hours.com/f/caia/t/online-proctored-exams-vs-test-centers-which-one-is-better/?bbp_reply_to=93908&_wpnonce=388008f7ec#new-post. The expected behaviour when this reply button is clicked is that a reply form appears directly below it, and the page does not reload.
This works perfectly on desktop, and even when I 'toggle mobile device' when in Developer Tools in Chrome. However, when I'm testing it on my actual Android device, it behaves incorrectly - it reloads the page.

I'm not sure I see what you mean.
I've tested the site on my phone (Android, Chrome) and the view actually smooth scrolls to the form when I tap the add a reply button. It doesn't refresh.
Perhaps this is OS or vendor specific. Can you tell us what device you're testing this on?

It's not the green 'add a reply' button, that works fine. That button adds a new reply thread.
It's the white 'reply' button at the end of each loop that has the issue. This replies to that specific reply. You need to log in to see this, which is why I included login details with my first post.

I logged in and tested with my iPhone, it doesn't seem to have the issue you mentioned.
When I click the white reply, it smooth scrolls to the comment section.
Could you try to test with another device?

Can you try a white reply button that's not the first in the thread? Say, the last one?

This seems like a plugin/custom functionality - I don't believe it has anything to do with GP.
I tried it on my phone and it worked fine. However, I had to wait a very long time (5+ seconds) for the page to actually finish loading. If you/your users don't wait for it to be fully loaded, it's likely the javascript won't initiate on time which would cause the page to reload.
