Dan
Support for Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) would be awesome.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperUsing a plugin for something like this is your best bet: https://wordpress.org/plugins/amp/

Hi Tom
just following up on this since the plugin still doesn’t support pages but I noticed this fork related to the project
https://github.com/Automattic/amp-wp/pull/425
discussing a workaround that involves the theme having amp support any thoughts on this?
hmm seems like that is not specifically related to pages yet either but again if you have thoughts on it that’s great!
Thanks!

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHmm, seems like the best method moving forward is still up in the air a bit – I would hate to implement something in GP just have it change later and break backwards compatibility.
I’ll keep an eye on that pull request – it looks like Yoast SEO is interested in implementing something into their plugin as well.
Thanks!

fair enough it would be nice if they would finish it up. Maybe Yoast will speed it along now 🙂
thanks

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperIt would be a great feature to add to their plugin.
If at some point it becomes standard for themes to do it and a standardized method exists, I’ll be all over it 🙂

I realize this is an old topic, but I don’t see any newer post on the topic. I just added AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages” plug-in to my site. Seems to work OK (actually, I can’t tell, but at least nothing blew up!) ….wonder if anyone else uses it or has any suggestions.

Thanks, Leo. I will check it out. Never heard of AMP before today.

I used the amp for wp plug-in, but not sure it is ready for prime time. I found that after I installed it, when I tried to upload images to a new envira gallery, it would give me http warnings and not upload. Once I deleted the plug in I could upload images to envira gallery with no problem
So it worked as said, but with conflicts, so I think it may be a while before I and be ready for amp. Anyone have any suggestions?

StaffCustomer SupportNever tried it but this seems to get the most 5 starts and is definitely the most up to date.

They have great customer service….I emailed them and they got back within an hour. I think the problem is fixed. We shall see.
