Amazon Associates Plugin Can Break Sections & Layouts

Hi Everyone,
In the last few weeks I noticed that pages that utilized either sections or layouts were broken. Layouts was completely unresponsive and sections were completely stripped into a classic WP editor (had I tried to make changes while live it would have certainly broken the page).
Today I tracked down the issue...the culprit (surprisingly) was the Amazon Associates plugin. Disabling the Amazon Associates plugin completely resolved the issue.
I do not have a current problem, so you can go ahead and mark this topic as resolved. However, I thought I would share my experience in case someone else comes across a similar issue with sections or layouts.
