[Support request] Always display a certain post?

Hi folks, Generatepress and website owner newbie here. I’m wondering if there’s a way to keep a section on the main blog post page reserved for a certain type of post, in either a certain category or with a certain tab. All the rest of the posts would be displayed in chronological order, except for one section that displays the most recent of that certain type of post. For reference, it’s a daily roundup of links, and I’d like the most recent of that roundup to “live” in an area of the blog page. Does that even make sense? And can it be done? Thanks very much.

The easiest way to do this would be to make whatever post that is “sticky”. However, that would require you to manually do mark is as such.
