Alternatives to Elementor?

I'm using GP + GP Premium + Elementor Pro + Elementor Premium Addons.
The pages load fast to edit fine until I try to load Elementor to edit, then I wait forever for the elementor page loader to load. Do you have any suggestions for not using Elementor and any lightweight alternatives? GP does a great job. I feel like I'm ruining it's benefit by piling Elementor on top of it, bogging it all down to edit.
Any suggestions appreciated.
You might want to get a visual CSS editor. Yellow Pencil, CSS Hero, Microthemer are just some examples. All of them have free and pro versions.
