Aligning buttons across grid containers
9 replies · Started by Terence on September 4, 2020
Hi there.
Just to say 5 stars and kudos for the great theme, looking forward to the new version and GB pro.
I have found many solutions and ideas from using this support forum but this time I am beaten.
My issue is I have a block , 3 containers wide (2 on tablet). Each block is identical in layout and has a bottom "find out more button"
Is there any way for these buttons to line up horizontally irrespective of screen size?
I have searched here, I know the solution is a flex issue, but it is beyond my level of knowledge.
Easier to see the problem than explain it I think, just resize the page.

Not a major issue, so no rush for follow up
Hi there,
Looking at your block structure, I believe you have one extra container which is unnecessary.
Can you double check on that?
There should only be one container block inside of each grid.
Let me know :)
Just to check I understand;
I have main container
then:

Yes, it looks like i have an unnecessary container.
I need to rewrite the page to remove that.

The main container shouldn't be required either.
i need to think about rebuilding the page, may take a while, I will come back to you.
Sounds good :)

Very rough, I just published a clone page with some rebuilding.

I presume this is what you want to see.
Now the buttons line up fine on a 1680 desktop, is there any way for them to stay lined up as the desktop is resized?
Thanks for the help
Can you try David's solution here?

Works great, I shall get on with rebuilding the page.
Many thanks
No problem :)
