installing the Marketer site should have no real impact on your site speed - its a super minimal install.
Looking at your page speed report it is flagging several issues.
The two main ones are:
Reduce initial server response time
Use HTTP/2
Both of these are server level related and something you should raise wit your hosting provider.
The rest of the issues could be improved using an Optimization plugin like autoptimize.
But there is little benefit of optimizing the site before resolving the server level issues
