Advice needed - multisite setup

Hi,

I'm thinking of using Generatepress pro and Generateblocks pro to support two multisites.

The first is a site where users are given a personal blog area where the branding and layout are standardized. Despite this, there are still a couple of different approaches to how the blogs are used and structured - so we need a little bit of flexibility in terms of sidebars etc.

The second multisite is a free for all in terms of branding and layout, but we'd like to create some templates to prevent the more "interesting and experimental" designs that are possible.

Do you have any advice on the best way to deliver these sites, using Generatepress & Generateblocks efficiently? (A lot of the site set up is manual atm, so imports are fine during the setup process - but ideally, we'd love to be able to use a setup similar to the Site Libary).

Many thanks
Laura

Oh, I should also mention - users do not have access to edit or add any code to the files.

We're considering adding a simple CSS plugin - but other than that, the sites use minimal with plugins.

Hi Laura,

Sorry I'm not quite sure if I understand the question here.

There isn't anything special you need to do in terms of using GP and GB in a multisite environment.

Does that answer your question?

I'm looking for some advice on how to set up templated sites quickly - so I create a layout/design and apply it to all sites on a multisite, and to impose restrictions so that editors cannot change the designs and layouts.

Is it just a case of importing the styling and post/page xml?

Thanks
L
