advertising for your theme

Hi Tom,

Some people asked me, how I did some things, that makes the theme is working so fine. But it isn’t my work, it’s yours. So I want to show the theme source with a link to GeneratePress.

I’m well suited with your theme, so I‘m looking for posibilities to make some auxiliary advertising for your theme.

I used your hook zu overwrite your copyright entry with my own. But the footer area has room (or is it space in english? You know, what I mean) enough to place some advertisement for your theme, maybe at the right side.

But the footer.php looks to complicate for me, to make some changes. I presume, there has to add one or two divs, to realised it. And you have to choose, what kind of text and link has to inserted.

My website: http://rudolfhinterding.de

If you agree, can you tell me what I have to do? What text and link do you want to show? What kind of color? The fontsize, maybe one step smaller than my copyrigth entry.

P.S.: Once again, sorry for my english.

Rudi

Hi Rudi,

No idea how I missed this post - sorry for not getting back to you sooner!

That's very nice of you! What were you linking? Maybe just a link to GeneratePress in your footer? If so, you could just add it after your other custom Copyright text?

Let me know :)

Sorry again for not getting back to you quicker.

Hi Tom,

I did it, like you told me. Your GeneratePres in the footer.

Is it okay for you?

Regards from germany.

That's very nice of your Rudi, thank you!

You could also open the link in a new window so the user doesn't have to leave your website.

Add this to your HTML: target="_blank"

So it will look like: <a href="http://generatepress.com" target="_blank">Theme: GeneratePress</a>

Thanks again! :)

Hi Tom,

It’s done!

Thanks you for Help.

Rudi

Thanks for your support! :)
