Adsense script between the tags

Can I just check that in order to put an Adsense script between the <body></body> tags as Google recommends, that I should use an Element 'Hook' and put it in 'wp_body_open' and I should not check off 'Execute Shortcodes' but I should check off 'Execute PHP' ?

<script> is neither a shortcode or PHP so you don't need to check the boxes.
