Adsense places topbanner between header and topmenu

Somehow AdSense thinks the topmenu is part of the body and places the topbanner between my header and topmenu, so the order of my page is 1.header 2.topbanner 3.topmenu. I can completely remove the topbanner from Adsense, but I want to have it placed after my topmenu, so the order is 1.header 2.topmenu 3.topbanner.
It seems it is not possible in GeneratePress to move my topmenu directly below my header. I even want to have my header and topmenu sticky. Is this possible?

how are you adding the Adsense ads to the site ? Are these auto ads or have you manually added them using Hooks ?
AdSense added them automatically
