[Resolved] Addon copyright

So I am brand new to WordPress and this was the first theme I was able to learn- so thank you!
Question is: I have the copyright addon but don’t know what to do. I can’t seem to figure out where I would add my information. Yes- probably obvious but hey I’m new. (and old!)

Hi there,

Thank you for using GP! 🙂

You can add your copyright info by going to “Appearance > GeneratePress”.

If the addon is activated, you should see a box similar to what’s seen here: http://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/generate-copyright/

You’ll need to use HTML, something like this:

<a href="http://yourlinkhere.com">Your link text</a>

Ha Ha! No I don’t know html! I tried to just use all the words you gave me but that didn’t work. Am I supposed to type that in exactly as you said?

You would replace the http://yourlinkhere.com with the link you want to link to, and the Your link text with the words you want linked.
