Additional site content width?

Hi,

I'm building a site where I need an additional site content container width.
One that I can use for pages with sidebars then for my single posts layout I would like a more narrow site content width (centered without sidebars)...I'm using Gutenberg.

From Gutenberg > "Content Container" I only see options for "Full width" + one "Contained", and from customizer I can't find any alternative.

Just signed up for Premium and I think everything looks really great but I was so hoping for this to be an option here.

Any idea on how this could be accomplished?

Thanks!

Hi there,

1. You would set the maximum width you require in Customizer > Layout > Container.
2. Then to change the maximum width for all of your Posts:
2.1 Enable the Elements module in Appearance > GeneratePress.
2.2 Create a new Layout Element in Appearance > Elements:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/layout-element-overview/

2.3 On Content Tab set the width to what you require.
2.4 Set the Display Rules to Posts > All Posts.

This will change the themes content width so theres no need to add additional containers to the post editor.

Perfect, thank you!

You're welcome
