Adding Widget inside a Block Container

Can I add a Widget which I have defined in functions.php inside a container block element?
Hi there,
Is this widget a function? If so, you can either use the hook element and tick theexecute PHP box or create a shortcode for the function, then you should be able to add this shortcode using a shortcode block in the block element.
This is a sufficient workaround. Thank you!
