adding navigation search on top bar

Hello,
I'd like to add a navigation search on the top bar and not in the primary navigation?
Also, I'd like the sidebar to appear on my main blog page but it is not showing up. can you point me in the right direction?
Hi there,
the GP Navigation search has to be displayed in one of the GP navs or it won't work.
You can add a Search Block or a search plugin shortcode to your top bar.
For the Blog sidebar, in Customizer > Layout > Sidebars you can set Blog Sidebar Layout.
If thats not working, can you link me to the blog page ?
