Adding Local Fonts - Fallback Font?

Hi,
I was reading the help guide for adding google fonts locally and it's something I may want to use for overall site speed/performance.
What I want to know is what happens if the locally installed fonts fail to load? Does the browser automatically use one of the system fonts in GP, or does this need to be specified in style CSS?

Hi there,
When a font fails to load the browser will simply display it using the system font it has built in.
