Adding info to blog roll

Hi,
I want to keep my blog roll as my homepage but add some welcome info to the top, between the header and the most recent blog featured image. What's the best way to do this? I only want this info to appear on my site's home page, not the other pages of the blog roll.

Hi Frank,
You could use a block element, choose hook as block type, choose generate_after_header as hook.
Then choose front page as location (assume you already set the latest posts as the home page).
