Hi,
I would like to recreate the Catalyst Homepage using Generateblocks.
My problems:
– “A FULL WIDTH CALL TO ACTION ROW”: How do I create full weight CTA grid?
– Home Header Elements: How do I assign the existing Catalyst Home Header element to a new page? Right now I have only the navigation header with links and logo, but merged blue-ish featured background is missing. Thanks!
March 1, 2020 at 3:47 pm #1181731LeoStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
– Have you tried using a full-width container?
https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/container-overview/#standalone-block– Add the new page under the display rules of that home page header element:

It solves my problem with the header elements, but the CTA full width doesn’t work. I set it to full width, but still there is a smaller container in the middle of the site.
Why?
March 2, 2020 at 1:45 pm #1182735DavidStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
can you provide a link to your Site ?
You can edit the original topic and use the Site URL field to share the link privately.March 3, 2020 at 7:38 pm #1184241RobertHello David,
to be honest, I let the Catalist go and I installed the elementor page builder. SO GP will stay as a theme, but I dropped everything else.
DO you know how can I merge the theme navigation and the elementor page? Right now I have a huge white gap and an id like Elementor #1537.
thanks in advance!
March 4, 2020 at 2:01 am #1184430DavidStaffCustomer SupportI would need to see the site so i can see where the Elementor #1537 is coming from.
March 4, 2020 at 5:38 am #1184619RobertHi David,
I updated the site url, can you please take a look? My idea is to remove the Catalyst blue header element and just have a regular navbar without the Elementor id and the whit gap. Thank you in advance!
March 4, 2020 at 6:13 am #1184652DavidStaffCustomer SupportSo Catalyst used a Header element:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/
You can delete it from Dashboard > Appearance > Elements.
To remove the content title ( Elementor #…. ) – edit the Post, not in Elementor and Disable the Content Title by clicking the little Eye icon that appears to the right of the Title.
March 4, 2020 at 7:33 am #1184880RobertYeah, id is gone, header element is disabled, but still there is a big white gap. Do you have any idea why?
March 4, 2020 at 7:37 am #1184883DavidStaffCustomer SupportI would recommend setting the Page Builder Container: Full Width
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-builder-container/
This will remove all of the Theme padding and spacing from the page. You can control all padding and width settings in Elementor sections.
March 4, 2020 at 7:53 am #1184900RobertI was able to modify it, but I am unable to set the background of the full navigation. If you can see, just the menu items has background, everything else is white. How am I able to modify the whole section colors? I checked all the colors options, but no luck. I hope this is my last question. ๐
March 4, 2020 at 7:55 am #1184906DavidStaffCustomer SupportThe Navigation is set to Align Right which places it inside the Site Header.
So simply the set the background to match in Colors > Site HeaderMarch 4, 2020 at 8:02 am #1184916RobertI found it. Is it possible to merge the elementor header and the site header(navigation)? Because using the same color, there is a border line between those two elements ๐
March 4, 2020 at 4:37 pm #1185301DavidStaffCustomer SupportYou can use a Header Element:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/
The only thing you need to do with the Header Element is enable Merge with Content on the Site Header tab and set your display rules.
