Adding Heading or Blurb to Homepage when using 'Your Latest Posts' as Homepage

Hi,
We'd like to add a text to the homepage template and we're currently using 'Your Latest Posts' as homepage display instead of a separate page. May we know how to do this? Thanks ahead.
