Adding full width content above/below sidebar

Is there a way to add full width content above and/or below a sidebar?

I have privately added a link to a page on my site which has a sidebar, and a page on another website which has a sidebar but also manages to have full width content above and below the sidebar

You can use a hook element:

or block element with a hook.
