Adding featured stories on top of the homepage

Hello team,
I'm using Marketer and wish to understand if there is an easy way to show 3 featured posts on the homepage right below the header bar, as represented here: https://imgur.com/a/8HIgMJZ . Any advise on this would be enlightening.

Take a look at the query loop block we are about to introduce in GenerateBlocks 1.5:

It's currently in release candidate 3 so if it all goes well then we should be releasing the official version this week :)
