Adding description to post archive page

Hi there,
I have used a Block element - content template to create a custom layout on the blog archive pages. I would like the category description to appear at the top of these pages. How do I do this please? Do I need to edit the block element and add something so it appears?
Thank you!
Hi Amiria,
Yes, you need to edit the Block Element.
Specifically, add a GP Dynamic Content Block. Set it to show the Term Description through the Block settings. Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/dynamic-blocks/
Thanks Fernando.
I tried adding this and at first it repeated the description multiple times, so I changed the original block element from a Content Template to a Loop Template, and now I have managed to get the category description appearing once at the top of the page.
However, using the Loop Template, is there a way to set it so that the individual blog posts slot into each other in a masonry grid? I used to be able to set this when using the Customize settings, however now that I am using the Loop Template, this option is no longer available.
Thank you!
Oh sorry, I meant you needed to add it to this Block Element: https://share.getcloudapp.com/WnuZLxqO, not the Content Template.
There's no masonry setting for Query Loop Blocks yet.
Oh, of course! All done now. Thank you Fernando. :)
You're welcome, Amiria! :)
