When I try to apply a class in the Advanced CSS for a Preformatted Block on a Post, it doesn’t take the font family. I can get it to adjust the size, as well as add bold or italic; but it persists in churning out font in Courier (blech!)

I also can’t get it to do anything fancy like add a background image or even a background color; but those are secondary issues.

I’m starting to think that somehow this is a theme override – anyone got ideas? Thanks.

    Hi there,

Any chance you can link us to the site in question?

Does the same issue happen with a twenty series default theme?

You can edit the original topic and use the private URL field.

    Let me know ๐Ÿ™‚

um… I don’t know what a twenty series default theme is? LOL

https://solvingmetoo.com/2020/01/27/ai-jen-poo-be-connected-and-powerful-together/ is the page with the block I’m trying to format. The one with gray background, that gives all my contact info.

Twenty series themes are the WordPress default themes.

Looks like the style is getting overwritten by another plugin called OptimizePress.

    Can you disable that?

Hmmm. Disabling Optimize Press would break a bunch of my pages. But it’s good to know that’s the problem, thanks.
