Adding CSS to a preformatted block in a wordpress post

When I try to apply a class in the Advanced CSS for a Preformatted Block on a Post, it doesn't take the font family. I can get it to adjust the size, as well as add bold or italic; but it persists in churning out font in Courier (blech!)

I also can't get it to do anything fancy like add a background image or even a background color; but those are secondary issues.

I'm starting to think that somehow this is a theme override - anyone got ideas? Thanks.

Hi there,

Any chance you can link us to the site in question?

Does the same issue happen with a twenty series default theme?

You can edit the original topic and use the private URL field.

Let me know :)

Twenty series themes are the WordPress default themes.

Looks like the style is getting overwritten by another plugin called OptimizePress.

Can you disable that?

Hmmm. Disabling Optimize Press would break a bunch of my pages. But it's good to know that's the problem, thanks.

No problem :)
