Adding code in Elements causing Elementor to crash

We're experiencing an issue with using Elements to show a WebChat feature on the site and Elementor loading.

On the current live site (running GP Premium 1.121.3) we have no problem with the code in Elements and loading Elementor, but on the staging site we have GP Premium Version 2.1.2 running and Elementor won't load.

1. The code and Element settings are the same between both sites.
2. When Element is deactivated or removed there aren't any problems with Elementor.
3. It can't be the WebChat code since it's working on the live site.

At this point, the only think we can think of is the GP version but we're not sure how to test that by downgrading the theme or Premium plugin.

Hi there,

the Hook Element is simply a placeholder in WordPress or the Themes code.
It itself doesn't do anything, so the version of the theme wouldn't matter, it certainly wouldn't cause a conflict and for Elementor to crash.

I assume this crashing in the editor?
Are there any errors appearing in the browser developers console ?

Hi David,
Thanks for the quick response. It actually appears that we're having a conflict with js code that may be unrelated to the GP Premium plugin. My apologies and thanks again.

No apologies necessary - i hope you found the issue!

Thanks!
