adding background page hero

Hi there,

Tried to figure this out myself, but no luck (and just bought generate blocks pro hoping it would be in there, but can't figure it out)

At the top of all pages (or a sub-section of pages), I'd like a solid background at the top of the page (coming down to just above the fold) that sits underneath the current content (headline, etc). At the bottom, I'd like a curve or slant or whatever, like you see on many websites.

I've included an example site below, followed by my own site. Please don't share either site, even in a screencast!

Hope you can help. Thanks!

Thanks, I see that, but when I add one it doesn't appear to sit behind the content?

Slight update - I've got the shape appearing (see link) but I think I see why the shape won't sit under the content...I need template tags adding for page title, featured image, etc so they dynamically load on top - I think?. I asked the question in another thread actually about this (if template tags are ready yet for block elements).

Cheers

Got it thanks, is there a way to pull the author pic through dynamically?

Thanks Ying

You are welcome :)
