    Hey!

Firstly let me tell you congratulate the team on building such an awesome and flexible theme.

I would like to add separate slide out menu’s to separate course pages!
Basically different course pages with different slide out menu’s.

Im an absolute amateur when it comes to coding, however I have managed to register a new menu (EMP) via the functions.php file.
    Here’s my functions.php file

    1) I would like to replace this sticky menu on my Electronic Music Production page only:
IMG REF: (Menu we want to replace)
    Replace this Menu depcited

    WITH

    Replace this Menu depcited

Note: These different menu will only replace the default slide out menu that has been set by the theme. The primary navigation stays on top as it is.

However the menu I registered (EMP) only shows up when I swap it with the primary menu. ( I’m using a plugin ‘Menu swapper’ to swap the menu on different pages)
    Menu Swapper

Im wondering if I could make this menu exactly like the slide out menu. Im assuming this is happening because I haven’t defined how my menu will look or feel in the navigation.php file.
Would be really grateful if someone from the team could assist!

Here is the reference from another website:
They call this chapter navigation. Maybe your next feature to add! 😀

    Hi there,

I’m not sure I’m 100% clear on what you’re wanting to achieve.

You’re basically wanting to display different menu items on different pages?

If you’re wanting to replace the slide-out menu only, you would have to target it (Slide-out) instead of the primary menu using the Menu Swapper plugin.

Also, any sort of custom PHP should be added using these instructions or you’ll lose your changes when you update the theme: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-php/

    Hey Tom!

    Thats right!
I want to display different menu items on different pages.
However I want the different menu’s to act like the GP themes sticky menu.

    Thanks!!

Have you tried a plugin like this?: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/conditional-menus/
