I’m using the theme Niche.

How can I adding an external url link to a Featured image in the theme?

Im searching for 3 days for a code or plugin. I would like to set the same external link in the archive pages as the button.

I’m working at a affiliate site.

Yes. I have not saved the picture on my server. It is integrated via an external URL from Amazon.

I would like the image to have exactly the same external link how the button.

If the product type is External then this article explains how to assign the external link to the image:

Note: this is a function of Woocommerce not the theme.

Yes. That’s what I tried to do. I followed the instructions exactly. However, that doesn’t work.

I’m not the only one who builds niche sites with Generatepress.

It would be really nice if the problem could be fixed.

Do you have another solution to fix the problem?

It’s not GP related, this is 100% related to the Woocommerce plugin, but i agree this kinda thing should be a lot easier.

Was the lightbox/zoom disabled ? If the plugin didn’t work then this topic provides a snippet to disable the function:
