Adding ad snippet to right column widget.

Hello, I failed to add an ad snippet code to the right column of my post template. Here's the page with the right sidebar. I know that it was built as a block by default and then it's being used in the template, but I haven't been able to make the ad script part of it or render it in any way. Here's what I tried:
- Created a hook and add it to the right sidebar before OR after content; no results
- Tried to add it to the block directly, but no results
- Tried to create it in the widget right column area, no results.
How can I make that happen?

The page is using a block element - right sidebar, you can add the ads directly into that element.
Hi Yinng. As mentioned in my first comment. I already tried it, and it doesn't display it. What block should I be using? I tried as it seems the most logical for it.
Oh I can see the content you've added to the block element.
If you insert the ads into a page's content area, does that work?
If not, you would need to check with the ads provider for instructions.
If so, please link me to the page where the ads show, so I can compare the content in the two locations.
