Adding a strapline below H1

Hello, I'm pretty new to Wordpress and GeneratePress, and I'm having some difficulty in figuring out how I add a strapline which would introduce the page content directly below the H1 tag.
I've tried adding hooks but I can't find the right one - I can either get something before the H1 or after the H1 and post date information.

For reference, can you provide the link to the site in question? Also do you have a sketch/screenshot or reference site we can look at to have a better idea of the design you're going for?
