adding a specific number of posts on the main page (marketer theme)

howdy GP et all.

i'm using the marketer theme; and, I would like to know how I could reduce the number of posts on the main page. currently, it loads all my blog posts on the main page. I would to like to how I could get that number to 5?

The option would be under WordPress readings settings:
