Adding a link to a page not in main nav?

I'm using the Text Widget and want to display links to pages on my site but don't want those pages to appear in the main navigation bar, or as dropdowns (sub-nav). Is there an easy way to do this without creating a new menu? The theme only supports one menu, right?

Hi Joe,

Go to "Appearance > Menus" and create a whole new menu with whatever name you want - add the pages you want in your widget to that menu and save.

Now in your widgets, use a "Custom Menu" widget instead of a text widget, and it will display the pages you added to the new custom menu.

Let me know if this makes sense or not :)

Excellent! That works just fine, thank you.

I was confused by the statement in the menu area- Manage Locations tab - that says, "Your theme only supports one menu".

Glad I could help :)
