Add two images to secondary menu

I have two images that fit together and I would like to float them left and float the menu items right in my secondary menu. Is there a way I can add two images to the secondary menu?

Menus are really only meant for menu items, but you can add HTML using the generate_inside_secondary_navigation hook.
Add a class to each image, and use CSS to float them left and right.
