add "things" in the right sidebar

Hello,
I just want to add some "things" in the right sidebar (a button, the twitter block, etc).
Is the correct way to create Elements > Hooks and position them "generate_before_right_sidebar_content" or do you recommend another way?

I have created to elements > blocks > hooks
Hi Twarrior,
Adding in through a Block Element as you mentioned would be fine.
If you’re planning to show it on your entire site, adding it through Appearance > Widgets would be fine as well.
