Add sections to an old desing

I have a question about the "sections"
I tried to edit a page imported from the site library that has no "sections", and I noticed that when I added "sections" these were not displayed.
Isn't there a way to add "sections" to an already designed page or do I have to design the whole page from "zero" through "sections"?
Hi there,
The Sites all work with the Block Editor, which Sections are not compatible with.
We recommend not using Sections now the Block Editor is in place.
Instead its better to use the GenerateBlocks Container Block, which does the same thing but on steroids.
If you must use Sections you would have to start the page from scratch.
