[Support request] Add Search Modal Element type

Noticed this in GPP 2.3.0. How do we activate it so the menu search icon uses the new Modal? Or am I missing something?

Hi Ian,

To use the new Navigation Search, you first need to deactivate the old one in the Customizer (Customize > Layout > Primary Navigation). This will reveal the new “Enable navigation search modal” option.

Thanks Fernando. I think I understand now. Disabling that did not reveal the Modal option as I only updated GPP. Looks like I needed to update GP as well? It just popped. That revealed the new search modal, nice!
