I have 2 websites having this same issue. When i try to edit an image block (AT TIMES) something causes it to 'bug out' this way.

The "window that pops up" that shows the media library - fails. As if the CSS & JS files it needs go missing....

The error i see in console:

The plugins used on said site:

I can edit on ANOTHER page and it will work fine. The bug appears on a page - and sticks.
I've tried completely disabling the cache, but have not had any luck. When i DISABLE the GENERATEPRESS theme it works.

Hi there,

just to be clear the issue is isolated to a single page?

Yes, that's correct.
The homepage only (on both websites)

Can I see the homepage of one of these sites ?

Of course!

Hi there,

Does the issue exist if you temporarily remove the lottie players?

Moreover, do you also have any custom PHP/JS snippet? If so, can you also try disabling them?

It would be good to take a backup of your site before doing these.

Kindly let us know how it goes. :)

I've tried removing the lottie player. The issue persisted. Though on the first inital site the issue has "subsided" i have no idea why. I will send you guys credentials for further investigation.

I've attached a video too.

Thank you for sending your credentials.

I tried replicating the issue from my end and I wasn’t able to replicate it: https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAuKRADk

Can you try clearing you browser’s cache or using a different browser? Moreover, can you also check if the issue also occurs when using a different device?

Kindly let us know how it goes. :)

I'm in shock. Why is it doing it to me :(( lol

I actually tested it on other browsers and it is the same :/
Unfortunately, I don't have another computer at home to test it. I will test it when i can though.

EDGE + OPERA + CHROME
same issue

I of course cleared the cache.
OPERA i literally downloaded JUST for this lol. So definitely clear there.

This could maybe be a caching or some other issue isolated to your device or your network.

Kindly note that a router can also have cache.

To be sure, I tested opening the Media Library once more, and still couldn’t replicate the issue.

What happens if you try to connect to a different network?

I've just tried on mobile network, same thing. I will give it a shot on another computer when i get the chance.

Alright, thank you for testing. I also tested just now again on Safari and Mozilla Firefox, and it also works as expected on both browsers.

Kindly let us know once you get the chance to test on a different device.

Hope the issue get’s resolved as soon as possible. :)

Hi Fernando, it seems you were correct. At the office today - even on my OWN laptop. Works just fine. Must've just cached itself in a bad way. Quite strange. Thank you for the support.

It was a weird problem lol.
