Hi there,
on my website I would like to add a photo slider between the main menu and the blog posts.
Is there any way I can do this?

The slider shortcode can be inserted in page header content:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-content/
then assign to blog page:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-global-locations/
