Add own system font

Hello, there’re only 4 system fonts: Arial, Helvetica, Times New Roman, Georgia. If I use a New Roman for example there is 0 server font request.

I just followed your guide about installing local fonts: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-local-fonts/ and installed my "Questrial" font. But I can see that there is 1 request (/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/questrial-v13-latin-regular.woff2).

How can I make this font a system font in order to not have that extra request.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thats not possible - System Fonts are a term used for fonts that come pre-installed on the end users PC or Mobile device.

Hello, this website https://www.wplogout.com/ is using generatepress and has own local font installed "Questrial". Why it doesn´t have a font request from server?

I can't see Questrial being used on that site.
Its using a system stack:

font-family: -apple-system,system-ui,BlinkMacSystemFont,"Segoe UI",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif,"Apple Color Emoji","Segoe UI Emoji","Segoe UI Symbol";

How can I use same system font?

Don't select any Fonts in the Customizer > Typography settings, and GP will default to using that.

Thanks!

You're welcome
