Add more in text widget of Elementor is not working

Hi,

I am using ELementor Pro in combination with GP Premium.
When I add  to the text widget of Elementor, it doen't work. It's not showing me any hyperlink or anything else that I can style.

Is there a way to make this work within Elementor widgets?

Hi there,

i believe Elementor has a Read More widget - not sure - can you check and see if that works.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Elementor states this only works in posts. I would like this to work, with help of the shortcode <!–more–>, in any text widget in Elementor.

To the best of my knowledge, using Gutenberg allows this showrtcode to be placed anywhere and I expected Elementor to do the same.

Hi Remko,

This doesn't sound like a GP related issue here so not sure if there is anything we can fix.

You will need to follow up with their support team.

Let me know if I'm missing something here.
