Add link to header image within element - page hero

You might be able to help me or this could be a feature request.
I would like to know how to add a url link to the page hero image I added using your element header.
Currently I am unaware of how to do this if this is even possible.
If not can I request a section where we can add a url link

Thank you Jennifer
Hi Jennifer,
Adding link to a container feature is available if you are using Block element and GenerateBlocks Pro .
If you are not using GB Pro, can you link us to your site, we might be able to help with CSS.
Let me know :)
Hi Ying,
I am not referring to GenerateBlocks. I am referring to the elements that comes with Generatepress Theme. Did you watch the video I attached? I do not want to add this image to a container block and I understand how to do this already.
Can you advise me on my original question.
Thank you
To have Header element completely replaced by block element in the future is what we are trying to do now.
So I'm afraid we won't be adding more features to the header element.
If you can link me to your site, I can help with CSS.
I see what you are saying. I can add this block and change the padding from px to % and it works. Okay thank you, I know how do proceed from here.
Question, I have a lot of hero page headers. When you update your plugin will those disappear or what will happen to them under elements?
Thank you Ying :)
On second thought I do need the css code to link the background container image to another site. My link to the site is http://www.livinghisword.org
Never mind Ying, I am going to purchase the Pro version.
Thank you
Hi Jennifer,
The header element will likely be kept as a legacy feature if you are already using it:)
But I fully support to go with Block element and its dynamic feature, we will be keep adding more features to make it more and more powerful in the future.
