Add ID to Search Form Generate Press

Hi Generatepress,

I have been trying to add an ID to the searchform on my website. I've looked through the forum but couldn't find the correct one.

I'm trying to add id="search" to the search form located on the navigation.
https://nlleapfo-kebumen.savviihq.com/

I've tried editing the searchform.php but the changes I've made is not effecting the site.

Any pointer is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

you can use the generate_navigation_search_output filter.
Heres an example of it to add placeholder text.
You can use the same snippet to add an ID to the HTML:
