Add icons to mobile header

How can I add an user icon and search function in Mobile Header, exactly same like the Emerald theme?
I try to use hook but it doesn't work.

That's from the background color you've set to the icon. You should remove the background color and change the actual icon color to black.
2) How to I add in the search function?
Block Element allows you to add Search block. Try adding it in beside the icon.
I've added the search unfortunately it look nothing like Emerald's theme. Can I have the css please?

remove the Search Block you have added.
Then enable the Navigation Search in Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation.

Just noticed on desktop view button (in customizer) the header menu is also missing.

I'm not seeing the search icon anywhere (desktop or otherwise). Is it still activated?
I'm seeing the menu on all devices.
