Add GP icon to footer widget link

Hello,
I am wondering how to add an icon from the GPP library to specific links in my footer navigation widgets?
A few of the links are mailto: and i would like to add a mail/envelop icon after the text for those specific links (inline). Can I pull one of the icons from the GP library and add it to the link or is their a better method? I'm using GPP and GBP.

What I am wondering is how to add an icon to specific links in my footer widget menus. How do I add the icon and how do I target a specific link?

The easiest solution would be to create your own footer widget menu with buttons block instead of a menu widget.
Then you can use the icon option:
