Add author to top of post

Can you please tell me where to locate the setting to include the author at the top of the posts? It is on several of my sites and missing on others (all GP) so I know it isn't CSS that needs to be added I just need to know what setting I am missing on the sites that don't have it and where to find it. Thank you! I have attached a screenshot to clarify.

Can you go to customizer > layout > blog > content > single, is the Display post author box ticked?
got it - I had to go one step further to get to each single post. Thank you
