Add and wrappers in comments area

Hi guys,
Is it possible to wrap a comments area with a semantic <section> tag and each single comment with an <article>? Without touching comments.php, just using filter. And since it is a common usage of semantic tags for comments section, maybe there is a chance to get this feature in the GP core in fututre? :)
Also, is it possible to wrap an author's section with an <address> tag?

The comments system is a WordPress core feature and the theme is simply displaying them.
I would recommend checking with WP's support team if they can point you in the right direction :)
