[Resolved] Add ALT tag to Featured Images

Is there a way to add alt, caption, title to featured images?

If so, how?

and if not how do you go about adding them?

It’s not possible to set the caption without a custom function.

However, you can set the alt and title using the WP options when you set the featured image (above the insert button). Those should be added automatically.

I see what the issue is now.

If you upload a new image it will not give you those options.

You need to deselect and select again. Then those options will reappear.

Or if you select an image already uploaded the options are there.

Maybe something to do with plugins.

Either way, the step of choosing and unchoosing is not a big issue.
