[Support request] Access to ACF Fields placed within a sub-grouping

Hi there

I have placed a number of ACF fields within a Group Field to keep them neatly organized for the end-user on the backend of WordPress. The Group field that you find in the Layout Category when selecting which type of ACF field from the dropdown.

When I try to display the field in that Group they do not display.

Is there a way to display the fields that are placed within a Group Field?

Hi Brian,

You can use a headline block of GenerateBlocks plugin to pull the individual post meta of that field group.

But there’s no way to pull all the post metas at once.

I am referring to sub-fields withing the ACF Layout Type “Group” Field. Is there a way to retrieve those subfields?

Unfortunately, that ACF field type isn’t supported yet.

You’ll need to retrieve the sub fields manually: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/group/
